Greg Flynn

Greg Flynn is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Flynn Restaurant Group and Flynn Properties. With over 1,245 Applebee’s, Taco Bell, Panera, and Arby's restaurants doing $2.3 billion in sales and directly employing 48,000 people in 33 states, Flynn Restaurant Group is the largest franchise operator in the US. Flynn Properties invests in commercial properties on the West Coast and has owned and managed more than 3 million square feet since its founding in 1994; it also owns, in partnership, the luxury resorts Esperanza, located in Los Cabos, Mexico, the Carneros Resort and Solage, both located in the Napa Valley, and the Hotel Madeline in Telluride.

Greg has been recognized as one of the Bay Area’s Most Admired CEO’s by the San Francisco Business Times. He has twice been named Franchisee of the Year and three times named Operator of the Year by Applebee’s Services Inc. He was honored as Restaurant Leader of the Year by Restaurant Business Magazine and Operator of the Year by Nation's Restaurant News. He has also been recognized as Dealmaker of the Year by the Franchise Times and an Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young.

Greg has an AB Magna Cum Laude from Brown University, an MA from Yale University, and an MBA from the Stanford GSB. He serves on the board of the Exploratorium, the Brown University President’s Leadership Council, and the Applebee’s Franchise Business Council. He also serves on the Strategic Advisory Group of Goldman Sachs’ West Street Capital Partners VII and the Executive Advisory Board of Cove Hill Partners, L.P. He is a past chairman of the Golden Gate Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization.

Lorin Cortina

Lorin Cortina serves as EVP and CFO of Flynn Restaurant Group and Flynn Properties. He joined Flynn Holdings in 2001 to oversee capital markets transactions, finance and accounting, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and restaurant development. Prior to joining Flynn Holdings, Lorin was VP, Investments for Starwood Financial, Inc. (NYSE: SFI) and VP, Acquisitions and AVP, Capital Markets for TriNet Corporate Realty Trust, Inc. Lorin was also a Senior Associate in the Real Estate Financial Advisory Services Practice of PriceWaterhouseCoopers and a Senior Consultant with Deloitte & Touche, where he earned his California C.P.A. license. In these roles Lorin engaged in corporate finance, public and private capital raising, project finance, financial planning, direct real estate investment, and corporate M&A activities. He also participated in or led the raising of nearly $2 billion in debt and equity, the negotiation of syndicated credit facilities, and the closing and subsequent oversight of over $1 billion in investment and M&A transactions. Lorin received a B.A. in Business/Economics cum laude from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Lorin is married and has one daughter.

Chad Arkoff

Chad Arkoff joined Flynn Holdings in 2011. Chad is involved in all aspects of new and existing investments across acquisitions, asset management, lease transactions, capital market activities, capital raising and dispositions. Chad has been activity involved in more than $850 million of investment, sale and financing transactions while at Flynn Properties alone. His experience prior to joining Flynn Holdings includes various investment roles within real estate and corporate private equity at firms including Starwood Capital Group and Hamilton Lane. Chad began his career in the investment banking division of UBS Investment Bank in New York. He received a B.S. in Economics from Lehigh University and an M.B.A from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Chad serves on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco.

Jimmy Veazey

Jimmy Veazey joined Flynn Holdings in 2009. Jimmy is involved in all aspects of new and existing investments, primarily focusing on mergers and acquisitions, capital market activities, new business integration and operations. Prior to joining Flynn Holdings, Jimmy worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. in the Investment Banking Division where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism, and hostile raid defense across a range of industry groups, and the Asset Management Division. Jimmy received a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University.
